The Department of COMMERCE helps students imbibe rational understanding of the various dimensions of business and development of trade in the context of globalisation, export-import and promotional strategies. The department offers a platform for the students to assimilate knowledge, and develop aptitude for business skills and self – employment.
Profile
The Department was established in 2007 with the establishment of the College at Gove-Kolad. Commerce papers are offered at all levels of Bcom and for all semesters. while the core commerce papers are compulsory for all semesters, two optional papers are offered at SYBCOM and TYBCOM, with syllabus as prescribed by the University of Mumbai.
